Rahman J Dukes is a New York native. Born in Troy, NY, raised upstate as a youth as well a resident from Bronx, NY and Queens (Hollis) NY. Rahman received his Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from St John's Iniversity. He was the youngest African American to hold position at MTV following an internship at MTV.com to now a Production Assistant at my News.com. Rahman was a leader at the digital content strategy with their endless editorial at the website with franchise content such as "Mixtape Mondays." The work created on the website made its way to programming on the linear network st MTV JAMS led by tuma Basa. The collective, including others created the successful "Hottest MCs In The game," "You hear it first," "All eyes On" and more. After 18 years at the company Rahman continued his journey in the TV business as one of the executives who launched television channel REVOLT. "The Breakfast Club," "Rolling Loud" "Drink Champs" and more were a few projects Rahman oversaw. Rahman went on to, launch POLARIS, a FAST channel distributed through VIZIO. Partnerships include Paramount, Focus Features, Byron Allens "the Grio" and "HBCUgo, the White House and more.
