Deepak is best known for being the writer of Laal Kaptaan, Powder, Dhruva Natchithram, Hum Do Hamare Do, Jalpari, Kaun Kitne Paani Main and other films in Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada. His films like Lala Kaptaan, Jalpari, I am Kalam received critical acclaim while his work in Jalpari got him the best Screenplay award. Deepak has also worked on Series like Saas Bahu aur Flamingo directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Maddock. Deepak has also worked on shows like Heartbreak Hotel, Jengaburu Curse and Fall. Deepak has worked in the TV space and written thriller shows. Deepak has also made corporate and ad films. In 2024, Deepak's debut features titled Perfect Plan, and ATKT are in the last stage of completion.
