His films have played at festivals around the globe including Cannes, Sitges, Cleveland, South by Southwest, Fantasia, The Friars Club and LACMA Young Director's Night. Andrés has received many awards including the DGA for best Latin short for Escape(IV)(2010), the more than 35 for Mr.Bear(I)(2011) and the Fantastic Fest - Mercado Fantastico Gold Award for best feature in development for The Turned.
