‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Boss Breaks Down That Explosive Season 21 Finale Cliffhanger, Meredith’s Surprising Decision
Image
Note: This story contains spoilers from “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 21, Episode 18.

“Grey’s Anatomy” ended Season 21 with a heart-stopping finale cliffhanger, leaving the fates of a good chunk of the Grey Sloan doctors hanging in the balance.

Episode 18, titled “How Do I Live,” followed the aftermath of Jo (Camilla Luddington) and Link’s (Chris Carmack) wedding. Tensions rose significantly after Jenna (Piper Perabo), the mother of a young patient of Amelia’s (Caterina Scorsone), sequestered her, Simone (Alexis Floyd) and Lucas (Niko Terho) in an Or and forced her to operate on her daughter while threatening to blow it up with a gas tank.

The hostage situation caught the attention of Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) — who was in the premises with the intention of selling off her shares of the hospital to fund her burgeoning Alzheimer’s research. In typical Meredith fashion, she ended up in the Or herself and helped diffuse the...

Showrunner Elwood Reid Unpacks Who Colter and Reenie’s Romantic Interests Are in 'Tracker’ Season 3
Image
Family secrets and missing people are the bread and butter of the Justin Hartley-led CBS procedural, Tracker. The beloved procedural does, however, take some time out for matters of the heart, as seen in Season 1 and in the first episodes of its sophomore season, as Hartley's Shaw reignites his relationship with Gina Picket's sister, Camille (Floriana Lima). Colter has also, throughout the show's two seasons, had a very clear, emotional connection with Fiona Rene's Reenie. While the pair are yet to explore a romance between themselves, they've been involved with others. Looking ahead to Season 3, showrunner Elwood Reid has discussed the potential direction romance takes for these two beloved characters.

Speaking with Screen Rant, Reid was quizzed regarding Colter and his lack of a partner, and if it benefits the show at this point. "I think it's hard because I don't know if people judge or not,...

‘Tracker’ Season 3 Will Begin Filming Sooner Than Anticipated
Image
The second season of Tracker ended its run this past Sunday with Colter Shaw returning home to Echo Ridge. While Justin Hartley's Colter was back in his hometown to solve a case involving missing children from across the country, the world-famous rewardist eventually stumbled upon a world-shattering discovery of his own in the season finale. The CBS procedural has already been renewed for a third season which will certainly look to unpack what the newly unraveled Shaw family secret means for Colter and his siblings. Now, we know when production begins on the new season. Shworunner Elwood Reid, in a conversation with Screen Rant, has revealed that production on Tracker Season 3 will kick off later this year, in July.

"Yeah, we will be back in two weeks," Reid said, referencing the return of the show's writers' room, "and we start filming in July. I think it's the 16th or something like that.

Image
Note: This story contains spoilers from “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 21, Episode 17.

“Grey’s Anatomy” hosted another iconic wedding, with Jo and Link tying the knot in a beautiful shotgun wedding that delivered on the big feelings — despite missing one key guest.

The bride and groom were busy ahead of the ceremony, with Jo juggling getting ready with bonding with her future mother-in-law, and Link struggling to write his vows. His struggles paid off though as he surprised his bride with a swoonworthy vow song chronicling their long love story, and promising complete devotion for their growing family.

Image
[This story contains spoilers from season 22, episode 13 of Grey’s Anatomy, “Don’t You (Forget About Me.”]

One hundred and ninety-two episodes into her tenure on Grey’s Anatomy, and Kim Raver is still challenged by what the writers come up with for her character.

Now the chief of surgery at Grey Sloan Memorial, Teddy Altman has been under more pressure than ever in season 22 of the hit ABC medical drama. But the part of her life where the dam is most threatening to burst is with her marriage to fellow trauma surgeon Owen Hunt (played by Kevin McKidd). The latest episode that aired on Thursday, titled “Don’t You (Forget About Me),” pulls Teddy and Owen into uncharted waters — for both their marriage and Grey’s Anatomy — as one of the show’s most longterm couples decides to experiment with an open marriage in order to save their marriage.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’: Has Owen Broken the Open Relationship Rules Already?
Image
[Warning: The following post contains spoilers for Grey’s Anatomy Season 21 Episode 13, “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”] Well, who could’ve seen this coming? (Sense the sarcasm.) After Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) and Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) decided to open up their marriage to spice things up and stop them both from feeling suffocated, they each ran right into the arms of the people they’ve been having flirtmances with. First, Teddy conveniently ran into Dr. Cass Beckman (Sophia Bush), the one who put the idea of opening up her marriage to other flings in her mind in the first place by sharing her own experiences with the same. The encounter was accidental — Teddy was joining Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) on a medical conference trip that Cass just so happened to be attending, too. Then, Owen ran into Nora (Floriana Lima) after she brought a pregnant friend in for help. In both cases, they each had the green light ...

Grey’s Anatomy: Will Owen’s Lie of Omission Shut the Door On an Open Marriage to Teddy?
Image
Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy (recapped here) dropped Teddy and Owen on the doorstep of an open marriage. But his lie of omission may well keep them from ever crossing that threshold.

In the final moments of “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” Owen confessed to his wife that when childhood friend Nora (guest star Floriana Lima) had last been hospitalized, she’d tried to kiss him, but he’d pulled away. He further admitted that Nora had continued to text him. In turn, Teddy disclosed that she had bumped into Cass (guest star Sophia Bush...

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Adelaide Kane Says Jules Is ‘in a State of Shock’ After Mika’s Exit
Image
Note: This story contains spoilers from “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 21, Episode 9.

“Grey’s Anatomy” returned with some big moments, a bonkers case and more than a few emotionally scarred doctors.

The midseason premiere, titled “Hit the Floor,” resolved many big cliffhangers for the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial, who we had last seen dealing with a record-breaking heat wave in Seattle in the aftermath of Dr. Mika Yasuda’s heartbreaking exit.

Dr. Jules Millin (Adelaide Kane) was impacted the most by her fellow doctor’s departure from the hospital, as the pair had been exploring a blossoming romantic relationship up until Mika’s sister showed up asking for help with a cancer diagnosis — which resulted in her dying in a car accident and Mika leaving Seattle so she could heal from the grief away from where all fell apart.

Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw in ‘Tracker’ season 2 episode 9

CBS’s Tracker returns for the second half of season two with episode nine, “The Disciple.” Episode eight ended with retired cop Keaton (Brent Sexton) finding an important clue in Colter’s white whale case. They meet at a diner and Keaton asks Colter (Justin Hartley) to walk him through everything he remembers about the day Gina Picket was last seen.

Colter explains that 19-year-old Gina Picket was working at a Hot Topic at the mall on October 15, 2014. She left the building at 6:10pm after her shift, and the surveillance video saw her heading to her car. However, she disappeared while in the camera’s blindspot.

Her sister, Camille, looked for her the next day, and only Gina’s car was found. The mall cameras didn’t catch anyone following her. However, Gina told her manager about a strange man...

Tracker Season 2 Introduced The Perfect New Team Member & She Better Return
Image
Tracker season 2 introduced an intriguing new character who would make a great complement to the team, and it would be great to see her return in a recurring role. The Tracker cast of characters has already experienced some shakeups in season 2, with season 1 regular Teddi Bruin (Robin Weigert) departing, both in the show and in real life. That's left the remaining characters to pick up the slack in her absence, a challenging feat considering how some questionable Tracker season 2 decisions have made it hard to care.

Even so, the show has always been good at introducing recurring characters and adding interesting cameos that make audiences want to know more about those characters. It's been one of Tracker's strengths from the start. In the most recent episode and midseason winter finale, Tracker season 2, episode 8, the show introduces another of these new characters who leave a mark.

Sadly, Tracker Makes It So Difficult To Care In Season 2
Image
Season 2 of the hit CBS action drama Tracker finds its hero Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) facing plenty of conflict in his personal life and his job as an elite tracker, but the structure of the sophomore season thus far has made it really hard to care. Colter tackles a different weekly case, including missing family members, a lost dog, organized crime, and supernatural elements. The expert survivalist himself even went missing until Colter's brother Russell (Jensen Ackles) tracked him down and assisted in finding another missing man in episode 2, "Ontological Shock."

Aside from reuniting with Russell, Colter also has a few personal unsolved cases that haven't been given enough depth for the audience to care about fully yet. These include the Shaw family mystery regarding the death of the tracker's father, Ashton (Lee Tergesen), along with the white whale case involving the decade-long disappearance of Gina Picket. Tracker Season 2, Episode 7 Shows The Unexpected Way That CBS Can Make Justin Hartley's Show Better
Image
After a historic first season, Tracker has been experiencing a bit of a sophomore slump in terms of storytelling, but one element of episode 7 could fix a lot of the show's problems. The CBS action drama TV series, created by Ben H. Winters is based on Jeffery Deaver's 2019 book The Never Game. Tracker follows Justin Hartley's Colter Shaw, a survivalist and expert tracker who makes money off of his skills, and season 2 continues his adventures. Unfortunately, the mysteries and cases in Tracker season 2 have failed to be as interesting as the ones in season 1.

Tracker season 2 will return with episode 9 on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 8 pm Et on CBS. In the meantime, fans can catch up on old episodes on Paramount+.

Tracker season 2 hasn't been as grounded in reality as season 1, and its storytelling methods are jumbled, making most episodes feel disoriented and underwhelming. The good news is that...

Tracker Season 2 Remembers A Central Plot It Has Been Ignoring For Weeks
Image
Spoiler Alert for Tracker season 2, episode 6, "Trust Fall"

After an uneventful start, Tracker season 2, episode 6, picks up a central plot the show has skirted, reviving a dormant storyline and adding excitement to the season. In Tracker season 2, episode 6, Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) investigates three missing friends when requested to work the case. While searching around a waterfall where the friends went missing, Colter meets a retired law enforcement officer named Keaton (Brent Sexton). The retiree is investigating a cold case he's worked on for 20 years, adhering to Colter's brand of morally-aligned vigilante justice.

As Keaton's values align with Colter's Tracker team, they quickly trust one another and co-work on their cases. The self-proclaimed "rewardist" helps the retired officer catch his killer. Still, the mystery continues as Colter tries to unravel what transpired between the missing friends, as it's unrelated to a string of previous crimes. Ultimately, Colter uncovers the awful...

Tracker Is Finally Good Again
Image
Spoiler Alert for Tracker season 2, episode 6, "Trust Fall"Tracker season 2 is finally good again after a weird start to the shows sophomore season. Tracker season 1 was the most-watched television show of the last TV cycle in early 2024. The show introduced a grounded premise with Justin Hartley as its central Tracker character, Colter Shaw, a self-proclaimed "rewardist" who finds missing people for reward money. After dethroning NCIS as the most-watched show for the first time in five years, Tracker has a reputation to uphold with its second season. However, the show strays from its successful formula until season 2, episode 6.

The Tracker season 2 premiere introduced a new mystery: the disappearance of a girl named Gina Pickett, who went missing 10 years ago. The case established another long-term mystery for Colter, who has a connection with the victims sister, Camille (Floriana Lima). While it wasnt as exciting as what happened to Colters father in Tracker,...

Dear Tracker, Please Stop Wasting Your Best Character (& It Isn't Colter)
Image
Warning! Spoilers ahead for Tracker, season 2, episode 4, "Noble Rot."After Tracker season 2, episode 4, it's time to officially ask Justin Hartley's show to not waste its best character. CBS' record-breaking procedural immediately made waves when it premiered in early 2024. Hartley plays Colter Shaw, a rewardist who roams the country to find missing people. While he is the titular character in the series and he operates on the ground mostly alone, the series has a good cast surrounding Hartley. Colter's team is small, but all of its members are very good at their jobs. They provide mostly remote support for the rewardist as he tackles dangerous cases.

The nature of Tracker's storytelling means that it has a rotating cast every week. Season 2's first three episodes featured three different guest stars Floriana Lima's Camille Pickett, Jensen Ackles' Russell Shaw, and Sophia Parnas' Billie Matalon, respectively. All of them played...

Tracker Season 2's Recurring Story Mistake Finally Ends After 3 Consecutive Villain Disappointment
Image
Spoiler Alert for Tracker season 2, episode 4, "Noble Rot"Justin Harltey's Colter Shaw has taken on several cases in Tracker season 2, but episode 4 includes a villain twist that makes it better. Season 2 started with an old unsolved missing person's case that haunts Colter. The case sticks with the rewardist as it goes unsolved, similar to the mystery of who killed Colter's father in Tracker. The death of the Shaw family patriarch defines Colter's story. In episode 2, Jensen Ackles returned as Russell Shaw. The brother went looking for Colter on a mysterious Department of Defense site after he went missing looking for a lost person.

Tracker season 2, episode 3, continued to bring back guest stars, returning Sofia Pernas as Billie Matalon. The "rewardists" investigated a case in the female reward-seeker's hometown. The Tracker cases have all been relatively straightforward, and there haven't been any plot twists that complicate a case beyond what could be expected.

Billie's Tracker Season 2 Return Proves Why She Is So Wrong For Colter
Image
Spoiler alert: The following article contains spoilers from Tracker season 2, episode 3, "Bloodlines."

After appearing in one season 1 episode, Sofia Pernas returns as Billie Matalon in Tracker season 2, episode 3, to team up with Justin Hartley's Colter Shaw again and show why the two characters don't work as a couple. Pernas makes her debut as Billie, a rival tracker to Colter, in season 1, episode 6. Billie is Colter's former partner who betrayed him by taking the reward money from one case for herself and skipping town. However, in season 1, the two trackers team up to find a missing racehorse and reunite on another case in Tracker season 2's story.

Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas are a real-life couple they got married in March 2021. The two actors first met on the set of The Young and the Restless in the mid-2010s but didn't start dating until 2020.

Colter has had his fair share of love interests throughout Tracker,...

The premiere episode will check in with Colter as he takes on a new case and digs into his father's unknown history. But on a more personal front, there's also the ongoing possibility of a romance between Colter and Reenie Greene. She's often helped him out of a tight spot, leading to questions about whether their chemistry might blossom into something more.

In an interview with Screen Rant's Rachel Foertsch, Rene was asked if she tried to fill the gaps in the relationship between Reenie and Colter given that some of it happened off-screen. The actor responds that she wasn't told anything extra about the history between the two characters, explaining how that can be beneficial as...

Colbert Enlists Tracker’s Justin Hartley to Find… a Missing Coffee Mug — Watch
Image
A shameless case of network synergy results in one of the silliest late-night sketches in quite some time.

In the video above, CBS funnyman Stephen Colbert enlists the services of Tracker star Justin Hartley when his favorite Late Show coffee mug goes missing. Despite Colbert’s refusal to refer to him by name and not “Tracker,” Hartley drops what he’s doing — he was just about to watch the guys from FBI wrestle the guys from NCIS! — and leads a chaotic search through the Ed Sullivan Theater. It all culminates in a wild foot chase through the studio audience.

I'm Confused About Colter's Love Life After This New Tracker Season 2 Girlfriend Casting
Image
Tracker season 2 announced a new casting for a love interest for Justin Hartley's Colter Shaw and I have to admit, it leaves me really confused as to how the show will pull it off. Tracker season 1 was a huge ratings hit for CBS, its most successful original show in years. Hartley has been great in the lead role, alongside Tracker's great cast of supporting characters, including Eric Graise as hacker Bobby Exley, Fiona Rene as lawyer Reenie Green, Abby McEnany and Robin Weigert as handlers Velma and Teddi Bruin, Jensen Ackles as brother Russell Shaw, and others. Thanks to their dynamic, I'm really looking forward to seeing where Tracker season 2 goes.

According to Nielsen, Tracker season 1 averaged 8.28 million viewers an episode in the coveted 18-49 demographic.

Unfortunately, Tracker season 2 is already losing Teddi Bruin, with Weigert disappointingly exiting the show. But Tracker season 2's story will introduce new cast members,...
