Savyna is a multi-lingual producer, director and writer working in both traditional narrative media (features and short films) and new Immersive Technologies such as ER, VR and XR.
Determined to practise a kinder approach to film production, she is passionate about telling compelling stories without compromising on the health of the planet and the ocean in particular - she is originally from the island of Mauritius, and the sea is close to her heart.
After 20 years of solid experience across numerous award winning projects in several countries, she is now established in London, where she is honing her existing skills with an MA in Digital Direction at the Royal College of Art, while at the same time bringing to market her first feature film as co-writer and producer, 'The Boy who Belonged to the Sea'.
