Brendan Jackson Rogers is a 2-time Emmy Award-winning director, producer, and screenwriter whose passion for storytelling began at a young age and evolved into a dynamic career rooted in creativity and community. After completing his debut feature Flashback-which screened on HBO and Cinemax, and was represented at the Cannes Film Festival-Brendan co-founded And You Films, a Florida-based production company celebrated for its heartwarming comedies, cult genre hits, and original streaming content.
As Head Director of And You Films, Brendan has brought to life a wide array of acclaimed projects, including the internationally distributed cult favorite Bubba the Redneck Werewolf, which streamed on Hulu for a year, and the beloved short film Guard Dog, which earned a Gold Telly Award for excellence in storytelling. His Emmy-nominated documentary Remembering Innsbruck explores the 1979 avalanche in Innsbruck, Austria, while his award-winning PSA The Library... And You creatively reimagines the library as a vibrant hub for education and community engagement.
Brendan also directed the hit 19-part web series Diary of a Wimpy Alien, a parody mashup that blends Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Alien. The series became a viral sensation, amassing tens of millions of views on YouTube and cementing And You Films' place in YouTube culture.
Beyond his work behind the camera, Brendan serves as Creative Director of the Spooky Empire Film Festival, sits on the board of Reel Dreams And You, and is a proud member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA). Under his leadership, And You Films' YouTube channel has grown to over 140,000 subscribers, known for its mix of nostalgia, satire, and heartfelt storytelling.
Dedicated to championing Florida-based filmmaking, Brendan continues to mentor emerging artists, foster creative community, and tell stories that entertain, inspire, and connect.
