Coming from a small town of Lucknow with no background to the films, Archit initially worked as receptionist at David Dhawan's editing studio and learnt the art form along with his job. Later, he paved his path to become a film editor starting with his first film Chameli starring Kareena Kapoor & Rahul Bose.
