He and wife bagged the Champions Trophy at the 2nd Hataw Busko Tournament (2007) organized by the Don Bosco Alumni Association held at the Powermash badminton court located in Pasong Tamo, Makati. They were also runners-up of the Lions Club Tournament - La Union Chapter in in Pampanga last November 2005.

With wife Isabel Granada, he is holding Jericho Badminton Cup, a competition for amateur players of badminton held every February. He and his wife love to play badminton. Everyday, they play Badminton which is the couple's bonding time.

His wife's mother, Isabel Granada V (known in showbiz as Mommy Guwapa), initially rejected him as suitor of her daughter. During his wedding with Isabel VI, the mother refused to attend the couple's wedding at Clark Airbase.
