Matisse Mazur is an American/Austrian actor.
He trained at the New York Film Academy, Playhouse West, The Groundlings, and Expressions Unlimited, and is known for his emotionally layered performances across film, television, and stage.
He earned acclaim for his lead role in the award-winning short film Les Clefs, winning Most Outstanding Lead Actor in a Short Film. His work is defined by a grounded, instinctive approach to storytelling.
Coming from a family steeped in the arts, Matisse is the son of legendary pop artist Ruby Mazur-creator of the original Rolling Stones "Tumbling Dice" mouth and tongue logo. His sister, actress Monet Mazur, stars as Laura Baker on All American, and his cousin Bret "Epic" Mazur is the former frontman and producer of the band Crazy Town.
Matisse splits his time between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, where he works as a Fine Art Consultant, alongside continuing his acting career. He is currently attached to several upcoming film and TV projects in development.
