Lamont A. Coleman is an NAACP Award winning actor for Paula Parker's The Last Street play, and is most recognized as the electrifying Reverend Waters on Tyler Perry's hit television series The Haves and the Have Nots on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).is an actor and producer, known for In the Closet (2009), In Da Cut (2013) and Cookies and Crime (2018). Lamont has been writing and producing award winning films and plays since 1996.In the Closet which won Best Religious Film at the 2009 San Diego Black Film Festival (SDBFF). Mama & Me a documentary on his mother's illness with Dementia, won the Silver Ace Award at the 2012 Las Vegas Film Festival. In Da Cut, a film featuring Johnny Brown, won Best Religious Film, once again, at the SDBFF 2014. Then hit again in 2018 at the Burbank International Film Festival for Best Religious Film, with Cookies & Crime.
