Suzy is a documentary style director & producer who focuses on telling authentic unscripted stories across the globe.
Having worked in over 40 countries, Suzy aims to eliminate barriers and celebrate the voices of those often underrepresented. She has a particular passion in advocating for women, people of color & the economically marginalized.
Guiding characters with very little or no on-camera experience in a vulnerable and authentic way, has become a well-practiced art and also a tremendous asset working in the unscripted space.
When not working for Netflix, Starz, FOX, CBS or other major platforms, you can find Suzy developing films for her storytelling non-profit HERE-is-WHY, which supports activists and social change-makers around the world.
After a decade of living exclusively in Los Angeles, Suzy now shares time with her second home in Detroit, where she's found inspiration in the resurgence of one of America's most storied cities.
