Darius Walker(I)
Born on October 21, 1985 and growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, Darius was
always attracted to entertainment. In high school he played the
saxophone and frequently performed in talent shows. Aspirations for
entertainment were put on hold after mainstream success as a football
player, so much that the book "Signing Day" by Corey Clark and Ira
Schoffel is based off his life as a highly recruited athlete. After
setting records for the state of Georgia and eventually at Notre Dame,
Darius played 4 years in the NFL. As a player, he was always told that
he should begin a television career once he was done playing. After
retiring in 2010, he started working as a local radio host for ESPN and
appeared in numerous of commercials and print campaigns for products
such as Miller Lite, Honda, and Mitsubishi. In search of bigger
opportunities Darius moved to Los Angeles in 2012 and, shortly after
was cast in the TV documentary 'Tim Tebow's Wild Rise' and became a
college football analyst for Fox.
