Born a dual Canadian-American citizen and growing up in a variety of cities, Matt left home with a third degree Black belt and an embarrassingly robust knowledge of comics to become an actor. Earning a BFA in Film & Drama at Syracuse University, Matt then moved to New York to cut his teeth on stage. And, after performing in a dozen Off-Broadway plays, Matt moved to LA to work in film. Unwilling to wait for roles to be handed to him, Matt taught himself high end visual effects and opened Forewarned Films.
