Alix Sideris is a professional actor who hails from Montreal and is presently living in Toronto. She is also a movement director, intimacy coordinator, theatre creator and educator. She has facilitated movement and embodiment for many professional and educational institutions across Canada including the National Arts Centre, The Stratford Festival, The Royal Conservatory and the Glen Gould School, The Canadian Opera Company, Randolph Academy of Dramatic Art, Young People's Theatre, Opera Lyra, to name a few. She was also the movement dramaturg for Corpus/Pan Am Games 2015, the Curator/Industry Associate for the Magnetic North Theatre Festival 2011, was a founding member of Prix Rideau Awards, and served as a Canadian Actor's Equity councillor for 2 terms. At present, Alix curates a global meditation called The Big Hug.
