A deadly virus turns the good citizens of Amsterdam into the bloodthirsty undead in the horror-comedy Kill Zombie, which debuted on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital June 10th from Well Go USA Entertainment.

Synopsis

A Russian space station crashes in Amsterdam, releasing a deadly virus that turns everyday citizens into flesh-craving psychopaths. Aziz (Yahya Gaier), his brother Mo (Ouled Radi), and several strangers emerge from jail, oblivious to the mayhem until they team up with a local police officer (Gigi Ravelli). After receiving a desperate call for help, this unlikely band of heroes sets out on an insane rescue mission - and it's going to take a seriously crazy plan if they want to get out alive.

For the week of June 10th, most of the genre-related titles hitting DVD and Blu-ray shelves this week just happen to be compilations ranging from sets celebrating cult classics to B-movies to indie horror films, which makes it a great week to catch up on owning countless overlooked horror and sci-fi gems, conveniently assembled for you in box set form.

We also have a few other notable titles getting their home entertainment release this week including Mac Carter’s supernatural thriller Haunt, the zom-com Kill Zombie!, Patrick: Evil Awakens and an indie Sasquatch film called Bigfoot vs. D.B. Cooper.

From 2004’s Shaun of the Dead to 2013’s Cockneys vs Zombies, the zombie-horror-comedy sub-genre has had a bloody good time finding humor in the horror of the undead. Well Go USA Entertainment is now tossing their dismembered hand into the ring with Kill Zombie!

Kill Zombie, originally titled Zombibi, takes place in a zombie-infested Amsterdam-West. Well Go USA Entertainment will release the German zombie movie on DVD & Blu-ray on June 10th, but we have the official synopsis, cover art, and trailer for you to check out now:

After spending the night locked safely away in the local jail, two brothers and two criminals emerge to find their hometown devastated and ground zero for the zombie apocalypse. The day has finally arrived: Noud (Ruud Feltkamp) and Nina (Marly van der Velden) are getting married. Nina is clearly stressed out because of the wedding. She fears that small details will ruin her big day. She doesn't realize that Wiet (Pip Pellens) is the real danger to her happiness. Wiet has convinced her sister Sjors (Inge Schrama) that she has accepted that the love of her life Noud is now marrying someone else. But that's not true at all. Secretly she's coming up with a plan to get rid of her rival Nina for good. Without thinking about the consequences, Wiet sets her plan in motion.
