- Hera Hilmar is an Icelandic actress. She is mostly known, outside of Iceland, for her role as Vanessa in the television series Da Vinci's Demons (2013) (2013-2015), as Varya in Anna Karenine (2012), as Eik in the Icelandic film Vonarstræti (2014), and as Lillie in Le Lieutenant Ottoman (2017). She was nominated for an Edda in 2007 for her role in Veðramót (2007). She won the Edda Award for Actress of the Year in 2015 for Vonarstræti (2014) and in 2017 for Eiðurinn (2016).
