Anna Katchko is the founder of Tandem Production, with offices in Moscow and Berlin. She has produced more than 20 award-winning co-productions ("Happiness" by Askar Uzabayev, Audience Award winner Berlinale 2022, "Medea" by Alexander Zeldovich, Locarno IFF 2021 Competition, "Harmony Lessons", Berlinale Silver Bear 2013, "Black Hen" Venice IFF best debut 2015, "Mariam" Locarno Competition 2019, "Proxima" Toronto Jury Price 2019 etc.)
Katchko has founded and curated many international film-business/training events in Russia, Kazakhstan and Germany from 2007 till today, such as Moscow Business Square, Spotlight: New Kazakh Cinema, EAVE for CIS producers, Ukrainian Film week in Berlin, Kazakhstan's national Pavilion in Cannes IFF etc. Since 2008 she was representing the Kazakhfilm Studio and was then a Chief Advisor at the Kazakhstan's National Cinema Center.
Since 2014, Anna is yearly invited as Decision Maker/Jury Member to Following Film events: Sam Spiegel Film Lab (Jerusalem), Torino Film Festival Lab, Locarno Open Doors, Odessa Film Festival, Istanbul Film Festival, Goa Film Bazaar (India), Connecting Cottbus and many more. She also gives lectures/master classes around the world on International Co-production.
Anna is a member of European Film Academy (Berlin), Asian Pacific Screen Academy (Brisbane), Federation of Motion Picture of Asia-Pacific etc. She is acknowledged by professional magazines such as Variety and Hollywood Reporter as the "Most Promising Eastern European Producer" and "European producer to watch", she was named the co-producer of 2019 in Pusan IFF.
Speaks fluent German, English, French and Russian.
