    • Damijo Efe-Young is a Film Director who directed the award wining feature length film WoEman, starring Frederick Leonard, Omotu Bissong, and Lisa Omorodion. And the short but splendid, Yawa. Damijo Efe-Young, is known for his fluid cinematographic style of story telling, and the subtle complexity between characters. He directed the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCAs) nominated Stop!, which gave Ik Ogbonna and Belinda Effa, their first AMVCA nominations. Damijo has an uncanny knack of casting actors in roles that challenge their acting abilities. In Stop! he gave Ik Ogbonna his first ever comedic role, a role which Ik Ogbonna played with great success. And from which he used to foray into other comedy roles in movies like Disguise and Excess Luggage.

      Damijo Efe-Young came into film making in the early 2000's as a script writer, and he worked with Chico Ejiro in the nascent days of Nollywood. In the year 2005, Damijo Efe-Young had his first Assistant Directorial debut on the set of Treasures, a Nigerian soap opera. His full directorial credits include: Treasure Hunt Africa (2009), Little Sparks (2010), Room 027 (2011), Two Sides of a Coin (2013), A Bone to Pick (2015), NairaBet Sports Challenge (2015), and Stop! Others include: The Devil Lives Here (2016), Straight Curve (2016), Love is a Prank (2016), Dry Stakes (2017), The Things Girls Do (2017), WoEman (2017), Once Upon a Couple (2017), Excess Luggage (2017), Mai'muna (2018) and Busted (2018).
