James is a British actor based in Los Angeles, best known for his commanding portrayal of Blackbeard in the Netflix docudrama The Lost Pirate Kingdom. With a strong presence in both historical and action-driven roles, James continues to build a dynamic and international career.
He stars as John the Baptist in Jesus: Crown of Thorns (FOX Nation), and plays lead antagonist Marcus Novak in the Paramount+ thriller High Ground, opposite Jon Voight, Charlie Weber, Katherine McNamara, and Henry Thomas, directed by James Bamford.
James lead the survival thriller Savage Hunt as Joe Regan-a physically intense, one-man battle for survival set in the Montana wilderness-directed by Roel Reiné (Halo, Death Race). He then took on the role of Peter in Mauro Borrelli's The Last Supper, alongside James Faulkner and Robert Knepper, which was slated for a wide Easter 2025 release across 2,000 screens in the U.S. and Canada.
