At Society, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) ran into Nick (Joshua Morrow) and wasted no time catching up on news about Summer. They discussed Summer’s secret boyfriend in Milan before the conversation turned to Nick’s invitation to the Dumas event in France. Phyllis was stunned. She’d just tried to meet the elusive mogul in D.C., only to find he had already vanished.

Nick cautioned her against pursuing Dumas, especially with so little known about him. But Phyllis had a new plan: sell her expertise and convince Dumas to create a role for her.

Victor and Nikki are all about family on The Young and the Restless. But when it comes to their grandchildren, Claire is the center of their world. It’s time for the grandparents to be reunited with their other grandkids.

What Happened on Y&r?

Kyle (Michael Mealor) kicked off the night with a heartfelt toast, earning praise from Claire (Hayley Erin) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), but it didn’t melt Victor’s (Eric Braeden) icy opinion. Victor dismissed Kyle’s speech as cloying and calculated, refusing to view him as anything but an Abbott. Nikki pushed back, urging her husband to judge Kyle on his own merits, not his last name.

Undeterred, Kyle approached Victor privately at the Gcac bar. In a bold move, he pitched a contract—a “pre-prenup” of sorts—offering $5 million in damages if he ever hurt Claire. Victor was taken aback but agreed to consider it.

Young and the Restless sees poor Cole Howard (J Eddie Peck) has taken a drastic turn for the worst this week with his health, and that could lead to a fast-tracked wedding for Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) if Cole’s illness is fatal.

Kyle’s Grand Gestures and Victor’s Skepticism at Nikki’s Party

So at Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) party, a few things happened that are pretty important. First, Kyle made two big gestures to get Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) approval. The first was the very nice toast he made to Nikki. And then the charm bracelet Kyle got her. It impressed Nikki but Victor was quite snarky about it. He seemed to think the whole thing was performative.

Second was that Kyle circled around to talk to him man to man and said he would sign a pre-nup.
