He graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1972.In 1973, he plays first role in the movie The Poseidon Explosion .Other notable roles in films : Alarma în Delta (1976), Un comisar acuzã (1974) and Pe aici nu se trece (1975).
