Doug Willen was born in NYC and started acting as a kid. He joined SAG at the age of 8 performing in 20+ National Network Commercials. He was a recurring co-star in Sesame Street from the ages of 8-13 years. He had the honor of being on set with the TV debut of the Snuffleupagus in November of 1971.

Doug went to Cornell University with the dual interests of studying Pre-Med and Theater. After college he moved back to NYC getting work in theater, occasional TV gigs and some amateur stand-up comedy. A couple of years in LA followed with two failed TV Pilots.

Doug left the biz to attend Life Chiropractic University and after graduating Magna Cum Laude, he opened a practice catering to primarily industry people in the Flat Iron area of Manhattan. He takes care of elite level dancers and ballerinas from ABT, NY City Ballet, the Moscow Ballet, the Kirov, the Paris Opera Ballet and the Royal Ballet, as well as the Rockettes and several Broadway shows at any given time. Talent agents, casting directors, show runners, actors, opera singers and assorted stressed out creative New Yorkers come into the office on a daily basis.

Meanwhile, in the last 4 years, Doug has written an award winning non-fiction book, "Quantum Paleo", three screenplays, two one hour TV Pilots and a one person show, "Stripping off the Plaid", which he performed at the PIT theater to a sell out crowds.

Doug wrote, produced and played the lead role in the award winning web series, Second Coming, which was nominated for 8 awards at the LA Webfest, and screened at Sony Pictures Studios. Second Coming was recently optioned and is in development by Different Duck Films. Doug is writing the screenplay for the feature film version.
