Biography

    • Nasrollah Radesh (born 3 December 1966) is an Iranian actor. Nasrollah Radesh was born on 3 December 1996 in Behbahan, Iran to an ethnic Persian family. Nasrollah Radesh also works in the field of sculpture and has been doing so since he was a student. In 1994, he was invited to act in Parvaz 57 by Iranian director, Mehran Modiri. Radesh held his first sculpture exhibition at Aliha Gallery called Sooratak, and expressed his interest in sculpture in the last few years, which has influenced his acting. Media conference of "Nasrullah Radesh" art exhibition entitled "Mask" was held with "Sheida Khayyam" on Wednesday evening December 29, 2021. "Nasrollah Radesh" said about the first exhibition of his masks in this meeting: I started construction of masks in 1989 when I was student with dough of Barbari bread but these thirty piece of "Mask" lasted two non-consecutive years. For the first time, I presented one of them to Mr. Mehran Modiri and then among the masks I chose thirty different piece with high accuracy and sensitivity. When I drop the clay on the floor, shapes are created that I follow them; it means I do not want to transfer a specific message to audience. The theater and television actor says: I prefer to do somethings that do not transfer a specific message. For example, in comedy, I prefer Laurel and Hardy to Charli Chaplin. Everyone who looks at these masks gets different feelings of them. Somebody maybe says it is happy and somebody says it is sad. Radesh believes that no need to transfer the message through artwork. Radesh says: in my opinion, the art should be created automatically. When I want to make a sculpture, I do not pay attention to the feeling of that time; In other words, when I create a work, I put it aside and no longer remember how I felt when I made it. That's why I can not express my feelings at the time of making any of these works. The comedian actor, who has organized his first art exhibition, said that he loves works that do not have a plan, and in sculpture, because it is a solo work, I can plan the work without knowing it, and the ultimate pleasure in this work is complete satisfaction. To have. Radesh in response to the question of whether he pays attention to the faces of those around him? He said: "Although I do not have a good memory, I remember people's faces well from my childhood until now, and even Without knowing enough I made some faces in the exhibition!" For example, I may have seen one once and then made a sculpture of his face with imagination. In fact, because I pay attention to the image of people, they stay in my mind and I make a smile on them with mental power. He emphasized the following: the shapes and forms of these masks are important for me than the emotion they transfer to the audience. The actor has said that since 1968, I have been making sculptures out of love for about 32 years, and I have never thought about setting up an exhibition. But suddenly it occurred to me that you have a talent within you that you are indifferent to. Sculpture has always been my favorite work, but it was usually lost under other works as an actor. But I decided to give up acting for a while and continue sculpting. It is true that acting can provide me financially, but love is something else. The color of his masks is persimmon. He emphasized: I will hold other exhibitions of my sculptures. In addition to his art work, Radesh supported children with MPS and informed about the presence of some of them in the exhibition and said: "My birthday coincides with the day of the disabled and for this reason I went to see these children on one of the birthdays and I got to know them and their problems. Sheida Khayyam (painter) announced her collaboration with Mr. Radesh in the exhibition, and said: "From the ideas we had with Mr. Radesh, we were looking for a plan that could separate the smileys from the wall, and because time was short, we decided to put the smileys on Let's paint a canvas.Khayyam emphasized: we worked the leaves with foam and acrylic paint without a special pattern. This is a new work of art. Conceptually, the masks and the leaves fit together. She then said: We will plan stronger and better for next exhibitions of Mr Radesh.Media conference of "Nasrullah Radesh" art exhibition entitled "Mask" will be held with "Sheida Khayyam" December 3 to 8 in Aliha Gallery. This gallery is located on Shariati St., not far from Ghods Alley , Mahroozadeh Alley, Ramezanian Alley, first Ahmadi Moghadam Alley (Izad), No. 31, first floor.
