Azizah Rowen
Azizah Rowen (sometimes credited Azizah Hodges) is an actress, musician, and writer. TV and Film credits include HBO's "How to Make it in America" and "Black Pepper." Azizah graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in theatre, where she was nominated for the Ava Greenwald award, and later continued her studies at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. A founding member of the reputable Workshop 360 theatre company (Los Angeles), Azizah has performed in countless stage productions; notable theaters include A.C.T.(SF), The Electric Lodge (L.A.), The Odyssey (L.A.), Pasadena Playhouse, The Cherry Lane (NYC), The Rattlestick (NYC), and the Bay Street Theater (Sag Harbor, NY). She is a proud member of SAG/AEA, a member of nywift (New York Women in Film and Television) and a founding member of the recent SuperBloom House creative collective. She lives in Los Angeles. Azizah is also a singer, songwriter and guitar player and her song "Parallel Lives" was featured on the ABC family show "Switched at Birth." She is co-host of the podcast Sibling Grievery, and is represented by Baron Entertainment in L.A.
