Binky Mendez

Binky is a writer, director, and producer who co-wrote The Ashram, a thriller-drama starring Sam Keeley and Oscar winner Melissa Leo, directed by Ben Rekhi, and produced by Sikhya Entertainment. She was the associate producer on the international mini-series Iron Road, a co-production with China and funded by the CBC, starring Peter O'Toole, Sam Neill, and Tony Leung Ka Fai. Binky also wrote and directed the docu-feature Dalai Lama - The Birth of a God which aired on the Discovery Channel and numerous other networks worldwide. Her feature script 'Crimson Sky' was a semi-finalist at the All Access Screenwriting Competition, with over 800 entries and 90 participating studios and companies worldwide. In addition, she has created a young adult drama-thriller original series for Amazon Prime Video, which is currently in pre-production. Binky has also co-written the recently announced thriller feature Click Shankar with Junglee Pictures, to be directed by Balaji Mohan. Currently, she is working on an investigative spy series and simultaneously developing her own original psychological drama series.
