Vinay graduated from the University of Auckland with an Engineering degree. At university, he first got involved with performing arts. He went on to appear on various TV shows and films in New Zealand and India.
He recently finished filming for the movie Stars in her eyes in Auckland and has moved to Los Angeles to further his acting career.
