Elliot Evans(VI)

Elliot Evans (they/them) is an award-winning actor and writer based in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, they began doing regional theatre at twelve years old. Working consistently throughout middle and high school, they cut their (baby) teeth on a menagerie of various productions. During their teen years, they starred in several award-winning short films and a handful of TV shows. Furthering their studies at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, they continued doing professional theatre while juggling conservatory-style acting training. After a year at UArts, they were accepted to and attended the prestigious Moscow Art Theatre where they rigorously studied six days a week at the birthplace of Stanislavsky, Anton Chekhov, and the modern technique of acting itself. Following their studies abroad (and a quick trip to Mardi Gras), they dropped out of college and hitch-hiked to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time. Elliot has appeared on Netflix, ABC, Comedy Central, PBS, and Discovery I.D. (don't ask). They have also appeared in multiple commercials, including Macy's (national), Chase Bank (national), and Chia Pets (weird). They starred in the gritty short film "Sheep Hills" which earned them a Best Acting Ensemble laurel at the Cannes Short Film Festival (2022). Additionally, they can be seen playing the supporting role of Eddie in the meta-movie/video game trilogy "Immortality," directed by Sam Barlow and created by Queen's Gambit writer Allan Scott. "Immortality" was nominated in six categories and won a BAFTA for Best Narrative (2023). Most recently, Elliot wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the immersive play "Vanlyfe" which received seven nominations at the Hollywood Fringe Festival (the most nominated play out of over 400 productions) and won 2nd Place in the Loud Karma Emerging Female/Non-Binary Playwright Award (2024). Off stage, page, and screen, Elliot is a world-traveler, community activist, and student of life.
