Michael D. Gough is an award-winning composer and filmmaker known for his immersive, emotionally rich scores that blend orchestral and modern soundscapes to elevate a film's story. His work spans feature films, short films, and media, bringing memorable themes to every project.
A former student head conductor of the world-renowned Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps, Michael performed in NFL stadiums and at the 2001 Presidential Inauguration. As Executive Director of the Troopers (2021-present), he led them to their best competitive finish in nearly 40 years. He was inducted into the Troopers Hall of Fame in 2024.
Michael is an Emmy Award-winning media producer, having written and directed feature films, documentaries, media projects, screenplays, and books. His experience in motion picture production has given him a rare understanding of how music shapes emotion and storytelling.
