She wrote, "We're trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful." They say it it appears to just be mild kidney failure,and also chatted with a doctor,so they could explain exactly what that entails. Dr. Bryan Becker speculated that Nick might have been hospitalized for a decrease in kidney function. Since the kidneys serve to flush extra fluids, waste material,and salts from the blood,those things may build up in the body.
