Everything You Need to Know About Paramount+’s New Thriller Series ‘Little Disasters’
Little Disasters (2025)

All 34 ‘Black Mirror’ episodes ranked, including ‘USS Callister: Into Infinity’ and ‘Eulogy’
Image
Every new season of Black Mirror launches a feverish debate over which episode was the best. Emmy voters gave three consecutive Best TV Movie awards to "San Junipero" (2017), "USS Callister" (2018), and "Bandersnatch" (2019), but how does the entire fandom rate the best and worst installments? We've consulted the cumulative IMDb scores for all seasons and have come up with the definitive ranking of Black Mirror episodes. Can you guess the No. 1 choice?

Season 7 was released in April 2025 and brought the total number of episodes and specials to 34. Created by Charlie Brooker, the sci-fi anthology series began on the U.K.'s Channel 4 in 2011 before moving to Netflix (and becoming a worldwide phenomenon) in 2016. The show took a four-year break after Season 5, thanks in part to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, but that just gave people even more time to relive their favorite episodes from the beginning.

The ‘Black Mirror’ Season 7 episodes ranked, from worst to first
Image
Season 7 of Black Mirror dropped April 10 on Netflix after a two-year break. English showrunner Charlie Brooker wrote or cowrote all of the episodes, as usual. He's a five-time Emmy winner for writing and producing "San Junipero" in 2017, writing and producing "USS Callister" in 2018, and producing "Bandersnatch" in 2019. He received a sixth career Emmy nomination last year for writing "Joan Is Awful," but lost to Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer).

Speaking of "Bandersnatch" and "USS Callister," Season 7 marks the first time Black Mirror has revisited previous storylines in the form of cameo and a sequel, respectively. Will Poulter's computer programmer character Colin Ritman was featured in the interactive "Bandersnatch" and now returns with a small role in "Plaything." Meanwhile, "USS Callister: Into Infinity" is a full-on sequel to the original outer space installment, with Cristin Milioti and Jimmi Simpson reprising their crew members of the titular starship.

As for the other new episodes,...

‘Black Mirror’ Season 7 Episode 2: ‘Bête Noire’ – Recap and Ending Explained
Image
‘Black Mirror’ Season 7 keeps the twists coming, and Episode 2, ‘Bête Noire,’ is no exception. Charlie Brooker’s anthology takes us into a world where reality bends in ways that mess with your head. This time, we’re following Maria, a woman whose steady life gets thrown off track by an old classmate with a grudge. It’s a slow build that turns into a wild ride, blending psychological tension with that signature ‘Black Mirror’ tech sting.

Siena Kelly steps up as Maria, while Rosy McEwen brings a creepy edge to Verity, the classmate stirring up trouble. The episode’s got a sharp cast, including Ben Bailey Smith as their boss Gabe, and it’s packed with little nods to past seasons that we love spotting. It’s less about gadgets and more about how people twist them, making it a standout in the lineup. Let’s break it down.

'Black Mirror' Season 7 Trailer Reveals A Sequel And Major Starpower
Image
The new season of Black Mirror is said to be a return — in more ways than one. In the newly released trailer for Season 7, it looks like more than a few characters and episodes will be revisited, including the now iconic ''USS Callister" episode from Season 4. And according to series creator Charlie Brooker, this new batch of episodes will also be a return to form for fans of the darkly satirical and at-times harrowing anthology series.

Calling the forthcoming season "a little bit Og Black Mirror," Brooker noted that Season 7 — which is slated to hit Netflix on April 10, 2025, goes "back to basics in many ways. They're all sci-fi stories," a welcome change after the past few seasons have focused more on the horror aspect than anything. "There's definitely some horrifying things that occur," he added, "but maybe not in an overt horror-movie way. There's definitely some disturbing content in it.

Black Mirror Season 7 Trailer: Netflix's Mind-Boggling Series Connects To Earlier Seasons With USS Callister Sequel & Surprise Bandersnatch Character Return
Image
Black Mirror season 7 has received an official trailer and new first-look images. Netflix's sci-fi anthology series typically features star-studded standalone stories that show the dark side of technology. The upcoming Black Mirror season 7 is set to feature six new episodes, one of which will be the show's first-ever sequel, continuing the story of the season 4 episode "USS Callister," which followed a disgruntled programmer who creates virtual reality clones of his coworkers who inhabit a Star Trek-esque sci-fi universe. The previously announced cast of the season includes Awkwafina, Emma Corrin, Paul Giamatti, Issa Rae, and Tracee Ellis Ross.

Netflix has released the official trailer for Black Mirror season 7, also announcing that the cast will include Michele Austin, Ben Bailey Smith, Asim Chaudhry, Josh Finan, James Nelson-Joyce, Jay Simpson, Michael Workéyè, and Will Poulter (who previously starred in the 2018 interactive special Bandersnatch as game designer Colin Ritman). Black Mirror Season 7's Netflix Release Date Revealed
Image
Black Mirror has set an official date for its return. The long-running British sci-fi anthology series premiered in 2011, running for two seasons on Channel 4 before being picked up by Netflix. Generally, each episode tells a self-contained story featuring a brand-new cast, allowing the show to feature many major stars over the years including Bryce Dallas Howard, Jon Hamm, and Anthony Mackie. Black Mirror season 7, which will feature six new episodes, was officially renewed in early 2024, roughly a year after the previous season's debut.

Netflix has now announced the official release date for Black Mirror season 7. The new installment of the series will debut on the streaming platform on April 10, just under a month after the time of the announcement. As is the case with many Netflix series, the entire six-episode season - which features a cast that includes Michele Austin, Ben Bailey Smith, Asim Chaudhry, Josh Finan, James Nelson-Joyce,...

‘Black Mirror’ Season 7 Trailer: ‘USS Callister’ Sequel Blasts Off as Netflix Sets April Release for New Episodes With Issa Rae, Paul Giamatti and More
Image
The USS Callister is taking flight once again. Netflix has released the trailer and first-look images for Season 7 of Charlie Brooker’s sci-fi anthology series “Black Mirror.“

Breaking from tradition, Season 7 is the first time “Black Mirror” will revisit the characters of a previous episode: Cristin Milioti and other key characters from the standout Season 4 episode “USS Callister” continue their virtual voyage in the upcoming “Black Mirror” season. Milioti will reprise her role as Nanette Cole, a mild-mannered computer programmer who is unwittingly sucked into a video game by her boss Robert Daly (Jesse Plemons).

Though Plemons’ character was vanquished at the end of “USS Callister,” a number of characters survived, including Billy Magnussen’s Karl, Milanka Brooks’ Elena and Osy Ikhile’s Nate, all of whom will return for Season 7. Jimmi Simpson will reprise his role as the ill-fated James Walton, a character who seemingly sacrificed himself at the...

‘Black Mirror’ Drops Season 7 April Premiere Date, Teases ‘Bandersnatch’ Sequel | Video
Image
Because the world does not feel dystopian enough, “Black Mirror” is finally releasing its Season 7 premiere date. The sci-fi anthology from Charlie Brooker will return on April 10 with six new episodes.

This new season will contain a previously announced followup to the Emmy-winning “USS Callister” starring Cristin Milioti. Fittingly, the trailer for this new season starts with Milioti’s Lieutenant Cole gasping as an unseen voice says “We’d like to welcome you back.”

The trailer then cycles between clips of wild scenarios that are never fully explained. One minute, a man is putting on a Batman mask. The next, Issa Rae is being transported into a black-and-white world filled with AI people. Still the next, Rashida Jones collapses like a powered off robot while pitching cereal in front of a class of children. You know, classic “Black Mirror” stuff.

But the most exciting part of this first trailer does...

The trailer (below) merges the new episodes into one cohesive tease for the dystopian series, set to a foreboding cover of “Dream a Little Dream.” The clips and snippets span genres and introduce the star-studded cast, as creator-writer Charlie Brooker once again plans to tackle predictive sci-fi stories that will touch on AI, human consciousness and technology.

The six-episode season releases April 10 on Netflix.

Joining the already announced cast for season seven are Michele Austin (Hard Truths), Ben Bailey Smith (David Brent: Life on the Road), Asim Chaudhry (People Just Do Nothing), Josh Finan (Say Nothing), James Nelson-Joyce (The Outlaws), Will Poulter (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), Jay Simpson (Pride & Prejudice, The Holiday) and Michael Workéyè (This Is Going to Hurt...

Diane Kruger and ‘Little Disasters’ Cast Usher in ‘Big Little Lies’-Esque Drama: “It Leaves You Breathless”

Diane Kruger‘s preparation for her role in the upcoming psychological thriller Little Disasters was a reflective process.

“It’s a very weird time for any woman, right?” the Troy and Inglourious Basterds star tells The Hollywood Reporter about becoming a mother. “You lose control of who you were before. You fear you’re never going to get that back, and everything changes overnight.” She adds: “It’s wonderful and joyful and all those things as well, but it is definitely a strange time in your life.”

The Paramount+ U.K. & Ireland six-episode show, premiering this year, is based on the novel of the same name by Sarah Vaughan (Anatomy of a Scandal).
