Matthew Jain is an American born actor and was raised in Southern California. He was born to Peggy, a home health care nurse and he is the middle of five children. His father's ancestry is from India and his mother's ancestry is from England, Ireland and Czechoslovakia.
Matthew has a Bachelors degree in International Studies, a Masters degree in Public Administration and a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership. Throughout his acting career and schooling he has worked as a firefighter.
Matthew started acting in middle school. In 2014, he landed his first professional theatre role as Mike Tallman in "Wait Until Dark". The same year he had his first role on ABC's television series "General Hospital". He has also worked on Netflix's "13 Reason Why", Fox's "9-1-1" and ABC's "Station 19".
In his spare time Matthew plays guitar, reads, travels and is always on the search for the perfect gingerbread cookie.
