Cox earned rave reviews for his performance as Michael in the San Luis Obispo Repertory Theatre's production of the play ''Rounding Third'' by Richard Dresser, which played during the month of November 2017.

Decided he wanted to pursue acting as a career after seeing Jack Lemmon in Le jour du vin et des roses (1962).

Appeared in numerous plays at NYC's 13th Street Repertory Theatre Company with actors like Brianna Hansen, Liche Ariza, Nixon Cesar, Greg Vorob, Jason Godbey, Kyle Pierson and John Samuel Jordan.

At parties and holiday celebrations, the young Cox would recite the opening scene to "The Godfather" or entertain with what he now calls horrible impressions of George Burns and John Houseman for the amusement of his family members.

For the film Jack Jimminy: The Story of a Pornstar Extra (2010), Cox shaved his hair on top to make himself look older as Richard, the retired adult film star and father of the title character.

In September 2012, became engaged to his girlfriend of one year, Jamie Cox.

From 2001-2004, Cox studied and worked with acting teacher / director Stanley Harrison, who focused on the teachings and methods of Michael Chekhov.

For close to 15 years, Cox worked as a licensed New York City tour guide between acting jobs.

Cox has been directed by actor Lawrence Lesher in 12 stage productions since 2006.

Cox and his wife Jamie Cox are expecting their first child, due December 2017.

Cox is a big fan of the film The Room (2003).

Much to Mr. Cox's amusement, his bio incorrectly states that he got married in 1996 and has 2 kids with a ''Karen Kelly''. Mr. Cox has only been married to one woman , Jamie Cox , since 2013 and has only 1 child, a son named Spencer, born in 2017.

Cox and his wife Jamie welcomed the birth of their first child, a son named Spencer Anderson Cox, on November 17, 2017. Cox's son is named in honor of one of his favorite actors, Spencer Tracy.

A voracious reader, especially of detective and mystery novels. His favorite authors include Robert B. Parker, Dashiell Hammett, Raymond Chandler, Mickey Spillane, Rex Stout and Lawrence Block.
