The stars were out for the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Awards on Friday night (January 3) at Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, Calif.

Timothee Chalamet, Selena Gomez and Colman Domingo were among the dozens of celebs who hit the red carpet at the event, where they were also honored with awards!

The awards ceremony are held each year during the annual Palm Springs International Film Festival and honor “the best and brightest performances of the year,” and tend to be a good gauge of who will be nominated and/or win the Oscar that year.

In 2024, five of the Palm Springs film awards winners went on to win Oscars!

Hollywood’s former power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are still going through a tough time settling their divorce issues, and to add more pressure to the wound, some of their children have publicly dropped the father’s last name.

So far, only Shiloh has managed to go through the legal process to remove her father’s surname, while the others have only publicly announced the change in their names. Zahara, for instance, once made a shocking scene by dropping the Pitt surname when she introduced herself at a sorority event.

The 47-year-old actor and activist spent homecoming weekend at the Hbcu in Atlanta with her eldest daughter, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, who enrolled there as a freshman this fall.
