Biography

Was born in Brooklyn, New York to two musicians. His mother moved him out of the projects of Brooklyn to the Capital Region of Upstate New York at a young age, enrolling him in drama school at the New York State Theatre Institute. Darren got his shot out of the classroom and onto the stage after being cast as the lead in Six Degrees of Separation, then took things a step further by moving to Los Angeles where he joined a theatre troupe, The Black Gents of Hollywood, after reading for playwright Layon Gray. With them he performed in a successful play, Webeime, produced in Los Angeles and then by the Prestigious Negro Ensemble Company in NYC. Today the actor continues to study and be seen climbing the ladder in film, television & voice-over. His voice has been used for the Sony PSP 2 game Supremacy MMA, Visa credit card & Major League Baseball.
