- Bilingual in Japanese having finished both High School and University in Japan.
- Won first place in both the Asia Pacific Song Competition, as well as the Kyuushuu Island Song Competitions in 2003, and placed second place in the Kyuushuu Island Song Competition in 2004.
- Son of late writer/producer/director Maryse Wilder. Grandson of writer/producer/broadcaster Norman Klenman.
- Avery has taken over the film division of Bridgevale pictures and has recently started making a variety of short films.
