Biography

    • Ex-Formula One racing driver who drove for Brabham (1991 (14 GPs)), Ligier (1993), Tyrrell (1994) and McLaren (1995 (15 GPs)). Best ranked in the World Championship: 10th in 1993 and 1995. He also tested for Williams in 1990 and McLaren in 1992 and in early 1995. He went on to race in the American CART championship from 1996 to 2000 where he drove for PacWest Racing. He won the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1992. In 2001 he became a Formula One analyst on ITV - Formula One (1997) for British television, and remained there for the remainder of the programme's run.

      Blundell took three podiums of F1 in mid-grid cars scoring 32 points and took three CART victories.
