Biography

    • Dallas just premiered his feature film "Swap", a vampire horror film he directed and was released domestically by EPIC Pictures. Most recently, Dallas served as the US producer for the highest-grossing film in China's history, "The Battle at Lake Changjin", produced by Bona Film Group. Before this, Dallas released 4 feature films as a director, producer, and writer including the award-winning documentary, "The Bill Murray Experience", starring Bill Murray. Right after he produced the action thriller, "Kiss Kiss", released domestically by 1091 Pictures. Following the success of "Kiss Kiss", China's largest web network, iQiYi, signed Dallas to direct and produce the feature, "Ink & Rain", to exclusively screen in China. Off this momentum he was hired to direct the feature web series, "BWFC", by Japan's Crunchyroll, the makers of One Piece & Dragon Ball Z. Next, he completed the TV Pilot, "Plur", which was funded and distributed by the former Fusion TV.

Since 2008, Dallas has led his production company, Red Rabbit Pictures, which has earned him the (DGA) Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directing and he was nominated for an African Movie Academy Award for his film, "Little Soldier", which is still distributed by Walmart. Dallas has earned the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Award, The Caucus Foundation Award for Directing, a 3-time award recipient of the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts, and a recipient of the National Hispanic Fund McNamara Grant. Recently, Dallas was selected to join the prestigious Nantucket Film Festival Screenwriters program.

Dallas has volunteered to teach at inner-city schools through the LIFE Cinema Project (Edward James Olmos personal project), Los Angeles Education Project, and the First Star summer program. When he's not filming, he serves as an adjunct professor at UCLA Film School, Anaheim University, and Loyola Marymount University Film School.
