Joan McCarthy is an is an American actress, born and raised in Charlotte, NC and best known for her roles in "The American King" (2020) starring Akon, "Road to Redemption" (2016) with Viva Bianca, and "Black Gold" (2011). She was in plays at the Children's Theater, among others, throughout high school and college. Joan began her film career as a "student" in "Shake, Rattle and Roll" (1999) along side Maggie Gyllenhaal.
