BET+ has renewed the racy and captivating one-hour drama series Haus of Vicious for a second season. The new season will consist of eight episodes and feature Tami Roman in the leading role of Chantel Vivian.

The show also features Redaric Williams as Kane, Erica Peeples as Jaelyn, Norman Nixon Jr. as Milan, Kyler O’Neal as Izzy, Brely Evans as Avery, Vincent Ward as Bishop, Lyric Anderson as Tia, John Marshall Jones as Trevor and Ella Joyce as Carolyn.

Haus of Vicious follows the journey of Chantel Vivian, a talented fashion designer whose success is overshadowed by her narcissistic husband, addiction, unresolved childhood traumas, and dysfunctional personal life.

Directed by Radcliff, and written by Crockett, the film is about Hip Hop culture is in a crisis! A pioneer of the culture joins forces with a few of rap music’s elite performers to attempt to save Hip Hop and provides social commentary on the state of Hip Hop culture.

BET has picked up Haus of Vicious, the drama series led by Tami Roman. It is set to premiere August 17 at 8 p.m.

From creator Jill Ramsey, the eight-episode first season follows Roman’s character Chantel Vivian, a fashion designer whose success is overshadowed by her narcissistic husband, addiction, unresolved childhood traumas, and dysfunctional personal life. With the assistance of her secret weapon, Jaelyn Ryan (Erica Peeples), publicist to her Vicious Empire, Chantel works to rise through the ranks, but her husband Kane’s (Redaric Williams) behavior threatens to tear down the house Chantel built.

From Shondaland, “Dance Dreams: Hot Chocolate Nutcracker” spotlights the career of award-winning entertainer Debbie Allen and follows her group of ingénues as they prepare for Allen’s annual ballet showcase, which is produced via her Los Angeles-based Debbie Allen Dance Academy (Dada). Directed by Oliver Bolkenberg, the documentary, which is now streaming on Netflix, follows Allen, her staff, students, and extended family as they prepare for what has become a beloved local tradition that stars more than 200 children and a few professional actors, including Allen herself.

The Houston-born dance icon and her husband Norm Nixon have operated the non-profit Dada for 20 years.
