As a big fan of Activisions "Call of Duty" franchise, Hugh has been featured in "Modern Warfare 1" as an SAS soldier on "Soap McTavish's" team.Hugh can also be seen/played(with additional full beard), as an SAS Special Operations soldier in the multi-player levels of "Modern Warfare 2". Hugh worked as a technical advisor to the character and weapons teams on "Call of Duty Black - Ops"...And is a rather nasty Russian Spetsnaz interrogator in the payback level of "Black Ops".

Hugh can also be seen as 'Wall Street' in the Black Ops live-action commercial and print campaign.

Hugh was called back in June 2019 to tech advise and supply all the 1980's props and costuming for COD: Black Ops: COLD WAR, which continued through COVID, photographing new character looks in his Florida spare bedroom, (because the Treyarch team were all working from home!!!! ).

Became a naturalized United States citizen in 1999.

Hugh's real 'rampant lion' arm tattoo was incorporated into his character in the British prison film "Green Street Hooligans 2. Hugh played a Millwall football skinhead and did stunts.
