Brent Bayless

Brent Bayless is an accomplished filmmaker, cinematographer, and actor focused on creating and developing film and television projects that explore the ever-evolving human experience in new and inspiring ways, with an emphasis on how nature, animals, weather and humans interact, for better or for worse. Additional themes of his work include deep human connectedness, love and loss, personal callings, coming of age, underdogs, and the role of the anti-hero, outlaw, and Robin Hood-type characters in a world dominated by corrupt authority and greedy influences.

Brent earned a BA degree in Film Production with an emphasis on Screenwriting and Directing from the Santa Fe University of Art and Design with a minor in Photography. Working professionally in these fields, Brent has produced his own short films and worked on a variety of feature films, television series, and commercials, while continuing his ongoing acting training in drama and comedy. He is also developing and writing a number of spec feature film scripts and television pilots.

Brent currently resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico, but also works and travels regularly to California, Colorado, New Orleans, and Texas. He is open to quality writing and directing opportunities, camera dept crew positions, and acting roles in film, tv, and commercials.
