Virgin River Season 3 Trailer: Are Mel and Jack Ready to Start a Family?
Image
Baby fever is sweeping Virgin River in Season 3, as revealed in an extremely dramatic trailer for the Netflix drama’s upcoming third season.

The good news, of course, is that Jack survived getting shot. And as soon as he’s back on his feet, the townsfolk go back to doing what they do best — pushing him towards a happy future with Mel. “If you’re smart, you’ll give that lady a ring and start a family,” one local tells him.

Martin Henderson and Alexandra Breckenridge in Virgin River (2019)
Virgin River Makes Holiday Dreams Come True With Season 3 Renewal and New Characters
Martin Henderson and Alexandra Breckenridge in Virgin River (2019)
It's official.

Netflix will take viewers back to Virgin River in 2021, the streamer announced Friday.

This news is hardly surprising if you keep up to speed with our Virgin River news.

Production has already been underway for a while, so we can probably expect a late 2021 premiere again for the series.

10 new episodes have been ordered, and there will be at least two new characters in the picturesque town of Virgin River when the series returns.

Zibby Allen (The Flash) has landed the series regular role of Brie, who also happens to be Jack's lawyer sister.

She's described as "smart, hard-charging, ballsy," and "a whole lot of fun."

Stacey Farber (Degrassi: The Next Generation) has been added in a recurring role in Season 3 as Lilly’s daughter Tara Anderson, who helps her mother raise Chloe while her three siblings are living away from home.

The Virgin River cast already includes...

‘Virgin River’ Renewed by Netflix for Season 3 (Video)
Martin Henderson and Alexandra Breckenridge in Virgin River (2019)
Drama, drama, drama: “Virgin River” has been renewed for a third season, Netflix said on Friday.

That news means we’ll get some payoff on those Season 2 cliffhangers, like Jack (Martin Henderson) being shot, the whole Paige/Michelle’s (Lexa Doig) dead-husband’s-twin-brother thing, a child-sized wrench being thrown in Preacher’s (Colin Lawrence) plans to move to San Francisco and become a fancy chef and Doc (Tim Matheson) getting some mysterious — and seemingly bad — health news from another doc in another town.

Yeah, it’s A Lot.

No premiere date has been set for the upcoming Season 3. The second season debuted on Netflix on Nov. 27.

“Virgin River” follows a recently widowed big-city nurse (Alexandra Breckenridge) who moves to the redwood forests of northern California, where she meets an intriguing man (Henderson).

The series also stars Lauren Hammersley and Annette O’Toole. Joining the cast for Season 3 will be Zibby Allen and Stacey Farber.

‘Virgin River’ Renewed For Season 3 By Netflix; Zibby Allen Joins Cast
Image
Netflix has renewed its popular romance drama series Virgin River for a 10-episode third season. Additionally, Zibby Allen will join the cast as new series regular and Stacey Farber has been tapped for a recurring role.

Based on the bestselling Harlequin book series by Robyn Carr, the contemporary romance story is centered on nurse practitioner Melinda Monroe’s (Alexandra Breckenridge) recent move to the remote California town of Virgin River. Yearning for a fresh start, Monroe soon discovers that small-town living isn’t quite as simple as she expected and that she must learn to heal herself before she can truly make Virgin River her home.

Allen will play Brie, Jack’s (Martin Henderson) sister. Brie is a lawyer who is smart, hard-charging, ballsy and a whole lot of fun.

Farber recurs as Tara Anderson, Lilly’s (Linda Boyd) daughter, who we finally...

CBS Scene from “The Good Wife.”

We’ve got three webs of intrigue to follow in the “After The Fall” episode, along with a visit from Will’s annoying sisters and a highly watchable court case as Alicia defends a documentary filmmaker against charges that he caused a student’s suicide.

Back to the intrigue: (1) The firm’s key players are lining up partner support as they vie to replace Will now that he is on forced sabbatical. (2) Peter’s...
