Salem's Lot Reviews Are In: Did Critics Drive A Stake Through New Stephen King Adaptation?
Image
After a number of lengthy delays, it was recently announced that Warner Bros. and New Line's re-adaptation of Stephen King's Salem's Lot will debut on the Max streaming service on October 3rd, and the first reviews and reactions are now online following the movie's world premiere at Beyond Fest last night.

Expectations were not very high after the film was pulled from its original theatrical debut and placed on the shelf for such a long time, but a lot of critics seem to have been won over by this new take on King's seminal vampire tale.

However, quite a few others were not nearly as impressed, and are not at all surprised that it's heading straight to streaming.

While the movie is said to feature some effective jolts, it sounds like director Gary Dauberman has taken a much lighter approach to the deadly serious novel than the well-regarded Tobe Hooper adaptation,...

Salems Lot First Reactions Are Finally In After Stephen King Vampire Movies 2-Year Delay
Image
Salem's Lot first reactions are finally in after the Stephen King Vampire movie's 2-year delay, revealing just how worthwhile the new horror movie truly is. The upcoming Salem's Lot remake began production in September 2021, with the film originally set to be released the following September in theaters. However, Warner Bros. ended up delaying the film multiple times before settling on a streaming release following the 2023 Hollywood strikes. The movie will be arriving on Max on October 3, 2024.

Now, first reactions to Salem's Lot are in following its premiere at Beyond Fest, revealing what critics think of King's new vampire movie. Overall, reviews have been decidedly mixed, with many critics enjoying the movie despite its cheesy, sometimes comedic approach. However, others found the presentation less desirable, calling the script "thin" but still giving positive takes on performances. Check out what some first reactions had to say below:

Salem's Lot is a victim of its release situation,...

Agatha All Along Social Media Reactions Point To A Slow Start For An Overall Spellbinding New MCU TV Series
Image
The social media embargo for Agatha All Along lifted a few hours ago and we now have a roundup of verdicts from critics who were fortunate enough to see four of the eight episodes in advance (check back here tomorrow night for our full review).

As you can see, the overall consensus is extremely positive; however, the majority seem to agree that the WandaVision follow-up gets off to a slow start and perhaps tries a little too hard to generate fan theories.

The cast and queer themes receive a fair bit of praise and some are, as you might expect, calling Agatha All Along one of the best and most unique Marvel Television projects to date.

We'll see what tale that all-important Rotten Tomatoes score tells, but those of you who have had your doubts about the series can now put your minds at rest if these early verdicts are...

“You’re missing half the jokes”: Prime Video Might Be on its Way to Win the Streaming War After it Breaks the Fourth Wall in The Boys That Many Fans Missed
Image
Season 4 of The Boys debuted after a long wait and previewed its most grim outlook yet. In just the first three episodes, the outing has managed to win back fans with its outrageousness and dark comedy that has become its hallmark for quite some time. Additionally, it also picked up right after the events of season three and completely new dynamics between pivotal characters stood to welcome viewers.

However, it looks like not only the showrunners but also the streaming service has leveled up this season and is on the path to dominating the era of streaming.

A still of Butcher and The Boys | Amazon Prime Video

Amid the highly unpredictable set of events that unfolded in the first batch of episodes, late last week, one cheeky surprise came from Amazon Prime Video, specifically with its embedded features. Aimed at enhancing a viewer’s experience, the X-Ray feature has become...

Streaming Comedies Need More Episodes
Image
Television comedies have come a long way from the multi-camera sitcoms of the 1950s. The streaming era has given writers the ability to explore different ways to tell their stories beyond the traditional structure of network comedies. Shows like The Bear, Barry, Russian Doll, WandaVision, and Ted Lasso blur the lines between drama and comedy with their runtimes and plotlines and show us how necessary it is for TV to be a flexible and adaptable artform. But for all of the great shows that this era of television has given us, the push for shows to be shorter and more bingeable has also made studios lose sight of what has been drawing people to comedies for decades.

Even in the streaming era, network comedies can regularly be found in the trending section on streaming services, and these companies know that people are drawn to these longer comedy series. When New Girl...

Superman & Lois Season 4 Renewal/Cancellation Update Given By The CW President
Image
The CW's new president shares updates regarding the Superman & Lois season 4 renewal/cancellation chances. With The Flash coming to an end this season, The CW has only two remaining DC TV shows on the network. While not set on Earth-Prime, Superman & Lois is technically the last Arrowverse show as part of the franchise's larger multiverse concept. Gotham Knights, while not connected to the Arrowverse at all, is also in limbo. With the new regime at The CW, the fate of both DC TV properties has been up in the air.

As the Upfronts are taking place this week, The CW’s President of Entertainment, Brad Schwartz, was asked during a press conference (via TVLine) about the fate of Superman & Lois, as well as the other bubble shows. While they will be making decisions later, Schwartz also elaborated (via Alex Zalben) about the possible challenges that may lie ahead...

Harry Potter TV Series Is Already Controversial: J.K. Rowling’s Involvement Slammed
Image
It’s only been announced for a few hours, and it’s already controversial.

A Harry Potter TV series was greenlit by Max (formerly HBO Max) that will remake J.K. Rowling’s beloved bestselling fantasy novels into a “faithful” long-form series to roll out over a period of 10 years. The ambitious project will cast new leads and include far more detail from the seven novels, which were often rather truncated in their previous adaptations into Warner Bros. feature films, which launched with 2001’s Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Except, you know, there’s the whole divisive matter of Rowling herself.

Max could not make a series without a deal with the author, who still holds considerable control over the filmic rights to her stories. Rowling will be involved with the new series as an executive producer, though she is not expected to have day-to-day control or contribute to the writing.

‘Harry Potter’ Fans Curse New TV Series for Jk Rowling’s Involvement: ‘We Deserve So Much Better’
It’s official: A reboot of “Harry Potter” in the form of a TV series is coming to the new Max streaming service, and J.K. Rowling is onboard to executive produce. And, given how vocal she’s become against transgender people, many fans are cursing her involvement, and this series.

The announcement came during the unveiling of the renamed streaming service on Wednesday, as the series was revealed to be at least a decade-long commitment. Following the presentation, Chairman and CEO of HBO and Max Content Casey Bloys told press that Rowling’s presence and input will indeed be significant.

“She will be involved. She’s an executive producer on the show,” he said. “And I think her insights are going to be incredibly helpful on that. And remember, we’re in the Potter business. You know, the TV show is new, and we’re excited about it. But we...

DC's The Flash is one of the final movies from the old Dceu, with the multiversal adventure putting Ezra Miller's Barry Allen face to face with Michael Keaton's Batman, Sasha Calle's Supergirl, and more DC characters. The Flash movie resets the DC Universe, as revealed by James Gunn and Peter Safran, with the film allowing DC's upcoming shared universe to blossom.

On Twitter, Decider's Alex Zalben shared some news from today's Warner Bros. Discovery event to reintroduce the streaming service HBO Max as simply "Max". According to Zalben, The Flash will release on Max in the fall, following the movie's theatrical run.

Star Wars: Andor Reactions Pour In
Anthony Daniels, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, James Earl Jones, David Prowse, and Kenny Baker in Star Wars: Épisode IV - Un nouvel espoir (1977)
While it would be an overstatement to claim that the franchise is in trouble, few would argue that Star Wars is currently at its height. The excitement generated by the first season of The Mandalorian gave way to a mixed response to the lore-heavy second season and to the relatively unpopular The Book of Boba Fett. On the cinematic side of things, both the controversial The Last Jedi and the disappointing The Rise of Skywalker did well at the box office, but no new film is in production yet (and announced projects like Rogue Squadron have been shelved). Animated series such as The Bad Batch certainly continue to do well, and fans largely seemed to enjoy the live-action Obi-Wan Kenobi.

For many, the problem boils down to a matter of focus. Should Star Wars follow the path set by the nine main films and continue to be about the Skywalker family?...

The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power Early Buzz: One Ring To Rule Them All?
Image
Fantasy fans have barely had the chance to catch their breath after the "House of the Dragon" premiere took viewers back to Westeros for the first time in years. Now, a different world of magic is about to make a comeback, with "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power." The new Prime Video series is set to debut September 2, 2022, and thanks to the specifics of the rights deal secured by Amazon Studios, it will pull not from J.R.R. Tolkein's "Lord of the Rings" books, but from lesser-known Middle-earth history texts, like the books' appendices.

"The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" has a lot riding on its success: the series reportedly has a budget of over 400 million for its first season, which would make it the most expensive TV show ever made. Those big numbers could translate to great storytelling and huge success, or,...

The age of the average viewer of The CW is a lot older than you would think
Image
When you think of the shows that have aired on The CW, you likely think of Supernatural, The Flash, Riverdale, The Vampire Diaries, and more, all shows which seemed aimed at a teenage/twenty-something audience. It turns out that the age of the average viewer of The CW is a hell of a lot older than you would have thought.

Related The Winchesters: The CW announces October premiere date for Supernatural prequel

It was announced today that Nexstar Media Group is set to take a 75 ownership stake in The CW, with previous owners Paramount Global and Warner Bros. Discovery each retaining 12.5. While speaking of this transition, Nexstar President and Chief Operating Officer Tom Carter explained that the age of the average CW viewer is, in fact… 58 years old.

While there’s certainly nothing wrong with those approaching retirement age enjoying shows like Riverdale or The Vampire Diaries, the revelation was...

Nexstar Says Average CW Viewer Is 58, And Internet Can’t Stop Laughing
Image
During a call with analysts today, executives from Nexstar Media Group revealed how they hope to turn the CW into more of a cost-conscious broadcast network that appeals to a broader audience. Turns out the CW is a lot closer to that goal than anyone might have imagined.

The reality, according to Nexstar President and COO Tom Carter, is that the average CW viewer is 58 years old — which he thinks is why the broadcast network is also the lowest-rated among all five. Since the CW is home to such teen faves as Riverdale, All American and The Flash, news of its 50-something appeal elicited more than a few laughs online.

“I would have laughed if the average age was 40,” wrote Mike Royce, the former EP on One Day at a Time, on Twitter. “58 is true comic genius.”

Royce went on to suggest that his old TNT comedy Men of a Certain Age...

Leslie Grace in Batgirl
How Will HBO Max and Discovery+ Merge?
Leslie Grace in Batgirl
Ever since the merger of Warner Bros. and Discovery was finalized in April 2022, there’s been speculation as to if and how the companies’ respective streaming services, HBO Max and Discovery+ would coexist. Between the unceremonious cancelation of the upcoming HBO Max original movie Batgirl and the quiet removal of at least six HBO Max exclusive movies this week, people have been rightly skeptical of the direction Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav is taking the company. While the Warner Bros. Discovery Q2 earnings call on Aug. 4 may not have answered all of our looming questions regarding the future of HBO Max and its extensive library of beloved movies and TV shows, we now have a somewhat better idea of what the company’s plans are.

For starters, HBO Max and Discovery+ will officially become one streaming service that is scheduled to launch in the U.S. in summer 2023. The...

‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ First Reactions and Reviews Hail MCU’s Latest as ‘Extremely Emotional’ Franchise-Best
Image
The Los Angeles premiere of Sony’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home” has officially wrapped and the first reactions to the MCU’s latest entry are out in the wild. Official reviews and social media responses are beginning to pour in, with many offering euphoric praise for the multiverse mash-up featuring Tom Holland’s friendly neighborhood superhero.

Director Jon Watts returns for “No Way Home” after directing previous “Spider-Man” entries “Homecoming” and “Far From Home.” The newest installment picks up after Spider-Man’s identity as Peter Parker has been revealed to the world. Peter turns to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), who casts a spell to make the world forget that he’s the web-slinger, but the enchantment goes awry and breaks open the multiverse. The MCU is invaded by “Spider-Man” villains from alternate realities, including Dr. Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), Electro (Jamie Foxx) and the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe). Zendaya, Jacob Batalon,...

S.O.S. fantômes (1984)
Weirdly Serious ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Trailer Divides Fans: ‘I Thought Ghostbusters Was a Comedy’
S.O.S. fantômes (1984)
There’s something strange in the neighborhood — specifically, if you ask many fans of the 80s comedy classic “Ghostbusters,” the lack of humor in the new “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” trailer. Some are ripping the reboot’s relatively serious tone as “bizarre” while others are questioning why a film in which “that’s a big twinkie” is uttered is held in such high regard in the first place.

“Ghostbusters: Afterlife” came back to haunt us Tuesday, dropping a new trailer featuring more insight into the movie’s plot, hints at some of its nostalgic cameos and an unexpectedly reverent attitude toward its silly, sarcastic source material. Because, as previously mentioned, the original “Ghostbusters” is generally perceived as a comedy — but the trailers for “Afterlife” have so far made this sequel seem more like a drama.

The film was directed by Jason Reitman, son of Ivan Reitman, who directed the original 1984 flick starring Bill Murray,...

People Aren’t Loving Christopher Nolan’s Mid-Pandemic Beef With HBO Max
Christopher Nolan at an event for Inception (2010)
Christopher Nolan came out firing on Monday evening against Warner Bros’ decision to release all of its theatrical films scheduled for 2021 on HBO Max on the same day they’re slated to hit theaters. But given the current situation in the United States — the Covid-19 pandemic is currently at its peak here, and could continue to get worse before the vaccine is available — a lot of folks aren’t too concerned about the sanctity of the theatrical moviegoing experience right now.

“In 2021, they’ve got some of the top filmmakers in the world, they’ve got some of the biggest stars in the world who worked for years in some cases on these projects very close to their hearts that are meant to be big-screen experiences,” Nolan said in a statement railing against the move by Warner BRos and HBO Max.

Considering how the Covid-19 pandemic is going, however, a...

The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)
‘Bly Manor’ Fans Just Realized Little Girl Who Voices Flora Also Does ‘Peppa Pig,’ and They’re Freaking Out
The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)
Does “perfectly splendid” sound familiar to you?

Fans of Netflix’s “The Haunting of Bly Manor” just realized that Amelie Bea Smith, the nine-year-old actress who voices Flora on the bone-chilling series, also lends her voice to another pop-culture-craze — “Peppa Pig.”

Unlike “Bly Manor,” this one is specifically meant for children to watch, and it definitely doesn’t involve any faceless ladies who steal children and live at the bottom of lakes.

Though “Peppa Pig” has been on the air longer than Smith has been alive, the British child actress took over the gig earlier this year. Previous voices of Peppa have been done by Harley Bird, Cecily Bloom, and original actress Lily Snowden-Fine. According to IMDb, Smith has completed 13 episodes so far this year.

The follow-up to last year’s popular “Haunting of Hill House” series, “Bly Manor” brought back several of the same cast members, including Oliver Jackson-Cohen,...

Tom Holland Says Spider-Man 3 Won’t Be In The McU
Spider-Man 3 won’t be part of the McU. ‘Cats’ Footage Earns Extreme Reactions From Film Journalists Over ‘Insane’ VFX
Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, James Corden, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Rebel Wilson, Taylor Swift, Jason Derulo, and Francesca Hayward in Cats (2019)
Universal Pictures left the industry in a state of wonder at CinemaCon when it announced “digital fur technology” was being used to turn the actors in Tom Hooper’s “Cats” musical adaptation into felines. What exactly would Idris Elba, Judi Dench, Jennifer Hudson, and Taylor Swift look like with digital fur added to their faces and bodies? That answer finally arrived with the debut of the “Cats” official trailer, and the reactions from film critics and journalists is overwhelming, to say the least.

“Cats” is based on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s long-running West End and Broadway musical of the same name. The story is set during a single night and follows a group of homeless cats called the Jellicles as they decide which cat will ascend to a place called the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life. The musical was based on a collection of short stories written by T.S. Eliot.

Captain Marvel Isn't an Origin Movie, New Story Details Explained
Brie Larson in Captain Marvel (2019)
Captain Marvel is not going to be a Carol Danvers origin story. Today, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans were treated to a sneak peek at the film, featuring the first official images of Brie Larson as Danvers along with Samuel L. Jackson as a young Nick Fury. McU devotees got their first look at the red, blue, and gold Captain Marvel logo at the conclusion of Infinity War when Fury sent out a distress symbol to the character before he turned to dust along with half of the universe's population.

Captain Marvel will start with Carol Danvers already possessing her powers and leaving Earth to join a Kree military squad called Starforce, which is led by Jude Law's Mar-Vell. Even though much of the storyline is still unknown, this an exciting bit of news because it shows that Marvel Studios is deviating from the traditional origin story that fans have...

Reporters Offered Reward to Ask Trump About Black Panther's Nation of Wakanda
Journalists were offered a reward to be the first to ask President Trump the real questions, getting to the bottom of the relations between Wakanda and the United States. Wakanda is the fictional country from Marvel's Black Panther, but there appears to be a lot more than one person who believe that Trump might believe that Wakanda is a real place on that "sh!thole" of a continent Africa. Trump has recently come under fire for calling Haiti, countries in Africa, and other countries "sh!thole" countries in a closed-door meeting late last week. Many Trump detractors even wondered aloud if the president even knew that Africa is a continent.

Writer/Comedian Sara Benincasa took inspiration on Twitter after she saw that Black List creator Franklin Leonard tweeted directly to President Donald Trump to ask him about Wakandan immigration. Benincasa took that idea and ramped it up a bit,...

Those looking for great Star Wars stories while waiting for the new movies to come out have likely turned to the more recent Marvel Comics titles based in a galaxy far, far away. Donald Trump’s Watergate? Bob Woodward Says Journalists Need to ‘Quadruple’ Scrutiny After President Fired FBI Director
Watergate (1994)
The word “Watergate” was on many minds on Wednesday as critics compared President Trump‘s abrupt firing of FBI Director James Comey to the scandal that brought down former President Richard Nixon in 1972.

Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward — who along with colleague Carl Bernstein famously broke the story of the Nixon-sanctioned break-in at the Democratic campaign headquarters in the Watergate building — weighed in on the Watergate comparisons in an interview with MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

“Indeed there are comparisons,” he said Wednesday. “This is a remarkable moment. It’s not something to take lightly.”

The Flash And Supergirl To Have Two-Episode Musical Crossover
Last season in TV, there was a fun little crossover between The Flash and Supergirl. While the episode itself was of little to no consequence, it was a lot of fun for those who enjoyed the light tone. I couldn't count the number of comments online, however, that expressed how much of a missed opportunity it was. Both Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoit are proud members of the Glee alumni, and such, they have vocal talent to support their actings chops.

With those facts in mind, why in the world didn't showrunner Greg Berlanti turn the crossover into one giant musical (I'm mostly joking here, but you see where this is going)? Well, that fact was not lost on them, and now that Supergirl and The Flash are currently on the same network, they've chosen this as the perfect opportunity to have a two-part musical crossover between the two characters.

Game of Thrones (2011)
This Game of Thrones fan theory is part of the problem
Game of Thrones (2011)
Warning: spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 6, Episode 9, "Battle of the Bastards," follow... Let's be honest, much of the pleasure of being a part of the Game of Thrones fan community is the opportunity to theorize en masse. Someone will start a thread and others pick it up and, in a way, it's like creating an enormous lore-centric Mad Lib together. Sansa Stark has had one of the most significant character arcs of this season, so it's natural for fans to focus on what's next for her. Some feel that she may be primed to take the place of a certain character from the books, becoming the show's version of Lady Stoneheart. Others, our own Donna Dickens included, are now seeing a path that leads to a marriage between Sansa and Jon Snow in order for them to fully hold the North. And there are those who believe that Sansa...

'Avengers 2' Early Reviews: Dark, Funny, Many Marvel Cameos
Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., James Spader, Paul Bettany, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Chris Hemsworth in Avengers : L'Ère d'Ultron (2015)
When you are anxiously awaiting a movie as big as Avengers: Age of Ultron, you want to hear that it's great! Not just pretty good. But that seems to be the overall consensus coming out of the first press screening held last night at Disney Studios in Burbank, California. The movie sounds like it is a lot more serious and dark than the original, though there are quite a few good jokes and plenty of awesome Marvel cameos (none of which were revealed to avoid possible spoilers).

Disney knows it has a hit on its hands, so they allowed the critics to tweet their responses to the movie afterwards. Most of the reactions are very positive. The movie is without a doubt 'good' by their standards, which means the general populace will probably love it. It was overheard many times that the movie lacks the euphoric nature of the first,...

First Reactions To Avengers: Age Of Ultron Are Extremely Positive
Not that this should really come as much of a surprise, but the first reactions to Avengers: Age of Ultron have surfaced tonight and as expected, they’re extremely positive. The consensus seems to be that while there’s a lot going on in the film, and a ton of characters to keep track of, director Joss Whedon seems to have pulled it all off.

Check out some of the Tweets below to see what critics are saying about the highly-anticipated sequel:

Just saw Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Soooooooo many characters and soooooo much going on, I can’t believe it’s coherent, let alone so fun.

— Mike Ryan (@mikeryan) April 10, 2015

And out of all the Age Of Ultron chaos, somehow Hawkeye gets the best role in the movie. And the best line of the movie, maybe the series.

— Mike Ryan (@mikeryan) April 10, 2015

One more: Spader’s Ultron so much...

Are 'Gotham' and 'Arrow' planning a Crossover?
While Marvel is killing it with their cinematic universe, I think it's safe to say DC is doing fairly well with their television universe. As of now they have CW's Arrow and The Flash, which take place in the same universe, and Gotham on Fox, which may possibly be in the same universe as CW's shows.

(If you haven't watched Arrow or Gotham, you may want to stop reading here, as there will be some spoilers.)

Still with me? Ok, then, let's go...

Last week on Gotham two criminals said they worked for the (unseen) Dollmaker; a character who also appeared in the second season of Arrow.

Does this mean the Dollmakers are the same person?

Here's what MTV's Alex Zalben thinks:

"So could these two Dollmakers actually be one and the same?... What if the Dollmaker hit up Gotham City before being beaten by future Commissioner Gordon (Ben McKenzie...

Fox's Gotham Series is Getting Lots of Positive Buzz!
Fox recently screened the pilot episode of their new Batman prequel series Gotham, and the reactions of the lucky few who got to see it were extremely positive! It looks as though this highly anticipated show is actually going to live up to the hype!

The trailer that was released for this series was incredible. It was so good it gave me the goosebumps. It sounds like that trailer doesn't even do the series justice.

Gotham comes from the mind of Bruno Heller (Rome, The Mentalist), and it tells the story of Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and the rise of Gotham's villains and heroes. So here is what people are saying:

Really dug the pilot of Fox's superhero origin story Gotham. Solid crime drama with many tantalizing hints of the mythology to come.

— Steven Zeitchik (@ZeitchikLAT) June 13, 2014

Cannot get over how great the cast of #Gotham is — not a false note among them.

First Gotham Pilot Reactions Are Incredibly Positive
I’m not going to lie, I was a bit worried before reading the first reactions to Fox’s new Batman prequel series, Gotham. I’m incredibly excited for the show, and seriously hope that it lives up to its potential. However, one could easily see where the series could go horribly, horribly wrong, and many were left skeptical by its first trailer.

Sure, it will be great to see a Batman show on television, but the series runs the risk of falling into typical prequel tropes, and spending too much time winking at the audience instead of telling good stories that fully utilize the Gotham-before-Batman concept.

Well, if these early reactions are any indication, we have nothing to worry about, because Gotham appears to have delivered on its promises and established a great foundation for what we hope is a stellar season. The pilot episode was screened for...

'Game of Thrones' Rape Scene Isn't So Different From The Books
Over the past week there's been a lot of back and forth about the controversial Jaime/Cersei scene on the last episode of "Game of Thrones." And this discussion only got more heated when author George R.R. Martin came out to lament the treatment/changes of the scene from book to screen. With that in mind, it's probably important to remind people of one basic fact: it's not like there isn't already a lot of rape in ...

'Game Of Thrones': Inside This Week's Second Most Shocking Scene
On this week's "Game of Thrones," there was one moment so insane, so polarizing that the whole fandom was freaking out the next morning. It was a moment not from the books, one that took a familiar character we had started to like and moved them to a point where we were once again utterly disgusted by their actions. Once this character did what they did, we didn't know if we could ever look at ...
