While at Pitchfork, he directed videos for CHVRCHES, shot a documentary about Big Freedia, and hosted a music travel show through Europe. Tyler's short-form narrative, documentary and music video work has been featured at The New Yorker, Vice, Rolling Stone, Huffington Post, Boiler Room, TPT channel 2 and The Walker Art Center. He has created music videos for L'Assassins, MEN, Big Dipper, Matracia, Skeleton Head, and The Carry Nation. In 2020 he created a series of videos for the Bright Light Bright Light - Fun City album release as well as a live concert film. With an official tent-pole premiere at Fantastic Fest, the feature documentary Scream, Queen! My Nightmare On Elm Street that Tyler co-directed and edited was released theatrically and on demand in the United States and Australia.
