- Yasuyuki Maekawa is a Japanese actor and former fashion model. He began his entertainment career in 1993 where he was a fashion model for magazines. He had participated in many shows around the world such as New York, Paris, Tokyo, and Italy.
In 2005, he announced he had retired from modeling and took on an acting career, appearing in his first role in a drama series called Yume de Aimashou, where he played a CEO of an IT company.
In 2007, he made his film debut in Ore wa, Kimi no tameni koso Shini ni iku. Since then he has appeared in several dozens of films and television drams over the years.
In 2016, he portrayed Shinra in Ultraman Orb: The Origin Saga.
In 2017, he joined the cast of Kamen Rider Build. Additionally, Maekawa stated that his transformation pose for Evol is meant to emphasize Evolto's dominance over the universe.
