Biography

    • Adrian Webster was born in Sheffield, England, the second of two children of Mary (Vinter), a stay-at-home mum at the time, and Martin Webster, a Shift-Charge Engineer for the National Coal Board. His parents later divorced and he continued to live with his mother and sister in the family home until he left at the age of twenty and attended university.

Although he had academic aspirations, his love for movies would see him leave university towards the end of his first year and pursue his dream of becoming an Actor. To this end he began studying privately at Joy Reynolds School of Performing Arts and he soon took to the stage in Thornton Wilder's "Our Town", playing the part of the Stage Manager. Later he took the role of Daffydd in Alan Aykbourn's "A Chorus of Disapproval", and to complete his time with the school he attained a qualification in Characterization via Trinity Guildhall.

Adrian subsequently appeared in a series of independent short films, some of which he wrote and produced, whilst working with other up-and-coming film-makers. This led him to land the leading role in Chris Bouchard's "The Hunt for Gollum", which would become one of the most respected fan-films of all time and an internet sensation. The film was released at Sci-fi London and would continue to entertain millions of fans thereafter.

Adrian made the decision to focus matters elsewhere in the time that followed this release. A series of successful self-employed ventures and an ongoing pursuit of academia have been his more recent goals. But, in the summer of 2015 his sabbatical ended and he decided to return to more dramatic pursuits.
