Ben Steinbauer is an Emmy award-winning film, television, and commercial director and show runner. His feature documentary, Winnebago Man, Michael Moore called, "One of the funniest documentaries ever made!" and Roger Ebert named it one of his favorite films. His latest documentary feature, Chop & Steele, premiered at Tribeca and was distributed theatrically by Drafthouse Films. Steinbauer show-ran and directed the Hulu Original workplace comedy doc series, High Hopes, with Jimmy Kimmel as EP, directed the CBS documentary series, Pink Collar Crimes, and directed the Emmy-winning PBS show, Stories of the Mind. Steinbauer is the recipient of the Princess Grace Award for Filmmaking, was named "one of Texas' best directors" by Texas Monthly and is co-owner of the Emmy-award winning production company, The Bear.
