Tim McLachlan

Tim is an actor, stunt performer, writer, editor and director with three decades of experience in the New Zealand film and television industry. He has performed in such films as "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" where he stunt doubled for Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf), Andy Serkis (Gollum) and Orlando Bloom (Legolas) among others. He has also written, edited and directed numerous short films in multiple genres (comedy / drama / mockumentary / action / martial arts / horror), as well as writing and directing the independent feature film, "Hidden", in 2001.
