Hanna Flint is a London-based critic, broadcaster, Q&A host and author of STRONG FEMALE CHARACTER: What Movies Teach Us. With a career spanning over a decade, her reviews, interviews and features have appeared in GQ, Empire, Town & Country, the Guardian, Mashable, The New Arab, Men's Health, Evening Standard, Elle, Sight & Sound, Radio Times, BBC Culture, MTV Movies, BBC Radio 4's Front Row and The Arts Hour on BBC World Service. She has presented various premieres and awards shows including the European Film Awards, the UK premiere of Prey and in in-conversation with Spike Lee.
She co-hosts the weekly film review podcast Fade to Black and is co-founder of the First Film Club event series and podcast. She is a member of the London Critics' Circle - Film and BIFA's Nomination Committee. She co-founded the LFF Critics Support Fund in 2023 and Cinema For Gaza in 2024. She is a voice for gender equality, diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry and an advocate for MENA representation as a writer of British-Tunisian heritage.
