Biography

Baldwin Yen, son of Yung-Tsai and Ho-Tzu Yen, was born in Santa Clara, California. Baldwin got the itch for acting by performing in school musicals and plays, although as a Good Asian Child he got a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from UCLA. But, rebelling in the least rebellious way possible, he joined the US Army Reserves as a freshman in college, joining as a Broadcast Journalist. Deploying to Iraq for a year in 2003, he returned, determined to try to be an actor. Following a brief acting class, he immediately scored a national commercial for a major fast food chain. And then promptly ceased working in the acting world for several years. He continues to dabble in the art, and still lives in Los Angeles, lurking for new opportunities.
